"BEYOND THE WALL"
Saturday, January 19, 2019, 4pm
NLC 966 Main St Haverhill, Ma
This documentary film features NLC's Jesus Ruiz, former prison inmate, leader of the Latin Kings (Lowell, MA), and now Servant of the King of Kings, Jesus Christ! Brother Ruiz serves NLC as Bus Driver, and he and wife Wanda head up "Leaving The Streets Ministry" an outreach of New Life Christian Assemblies of God, each Saturday. The Ruiz' are also involved in various other local outreaches touching the lives of the hurting, the incarcerated, and the lonely.
"Beyond the Wall” highlights one of the most critical issues
in criminal justice reform: the many prisoners returning to their communities each year where they face tremendous challenges and barriers. The film follows five formerly incarcerated men who are attempting to rebuild their lives on the outside with little support from the U.S. criminal justice system. Through this compelling and personal account, the film vividly shows their struggles and strategies for survival beyond the walls of jail and prison." (www.beyondthewallfilm.com)
All invited and encouraged to spread the word!
Following the screening of the film, Brother Ruiz will share
his dramatic testimony of the life changing power of Jesus Christ!
