2026 Passion Week

Good Morning!

Trusting this letter finds everyone well and feeling close to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you all for the many prayers regarding my safe return from Florida after a quick visit with our son. All is well and it is great to be back home!

This Sunday we will be begin our focus on the Passion of our Savior, remembering Palm Sunday with our annual "Procession of The Psalms" during worship, and a message from God's Word regarding that fateful day. On Friday, April 3 at 6:30 PM, we will remember the events of Good Friday with Worship, Word, and  Communion. Please invite a special friend or loved one that needs to hear the gospel to this special service. Then on Resurrection Sunday, April 5, at 10AM we will celebrate the Risen Christ with worship and a special illustrated sermon featuring the Word accentuated with songs and banners. Again, spread the word, and ask someone to accompany you to the house of the Lord for this exciting service.

Jesus is worthy of it all. Because of His atoning sacrifice on Calvary, we have eternal life as well now as life now! Isaiah 53: 4-5 says it best:

"Surely He has borne our  griefs

and carried our sorrows;

yet we esteemed Him stricken,

smitten by God, and afflicted.

But He was wounded for our transgressions;

He was bruised for our iniquities;

the chastisement for our peace was upon Him

and by His stripes we are healed"

To this we say a hearty Amen and Amen!  May Passion Week be extra meaningful to each of us this year as we contemplate the many local, national and global events that cry out the world's  desperate need of a Savior. May Jesus accomplish all of His desire in and through His church during this time.

See YOU this Sunday as Passion Week begins!

Ohhh, one more thing!! Saturday April 4, 10:30-12 is our Annual Easter Egg Hunt!! All kids, 2-12ish, families, and interested persons are invited to attend. Will be held on the church property. Coffee and donuts at 10:30!!

"So when Jesus had received the sour wine,

He said, 'It is finished!'

And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit."
